Hello. We're Roma & Dhavnish - life partners who take chances together, and together, we built The Brighton Side.
The name is a small joke we love: half homage to Brighton, the English city whose eclectic spirit shaped us, half a nod to always choosing the bright side of things. The Brighton Side literally means 'the side of town where the joy lives'. Roma's macramé journey as Roma's Hope Shop started just pebbles away in London in 2021, and it grew into this. Now based in Mumbai, this is the corner of town we've chosen to live in. We've spent years bringing that same energy home - Brighton's eccentricity meeting Mumbai's dynamism.
Step inside, and you'll find our in-house handmade collection - macramé bags, wall decor, and fashion accessories- made by Roma, alongside gems curated from other artisans, and pre-loved, found objects with stories of their own. We hope we can bring you to the brighter side.
