RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you need to send a request for return from your account by logging in on the website which we will confirm first. Or contact us at thebrightonsidestore@gmail.com or WhatsApp on +919724202937 to confirm the return request.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to the address that we will communicate once we approve your return request.

If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a retuns invoice for the same. The return cost is to be paid by the customer on the same day after which we will send the shipping returns label. You need to print and attach label. You will be updated on details about the package pickup.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please record a video while opening the parcel.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like earrings for hygiene purposes, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Cancellations

Cancellation allowed on unfulfilled order within 1 hour of placing order.

Exchanges
Exchanges are not allowed.

14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. We will refund the amount as follows:

Full order amount minus 7% transaction fees minus the respective shipping costs (in case of order value ₹999 & under) for the return.

Example 1: (for order value of ₹499 & below)  Item price : ₹150, Flat Rate Shipping Fee: ₹60 (₹35 for ₹500 to ₹999), Total order value: ₹209, 7% transaction fee: ₹14.63

To be Refunded = ₹209 - ₹60- ₹14.63 = ₹134.37

Example 2: (for order value of ₹500 & above) Item Price: ₹450, Flat rate Shipping: Free, Total Order value- ₹450, 7% transaction fee- ₹31.5

To be Refunded =₹450 - ₹31.5 = ₹418.5

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
